Welcome back to KSEA!

KSEA is back in a big way and we couldn’t be more excited! Despite the not-so-perfect June weather, our morning sailors took to the seas (Blue Hill harbor) and brushed the rust off their tiller-hand-switches and controlled jibes.

Once again, our Opti A sailor’s live on island time over on their float by Peter’s Cove, where they can easily access their sausage and figure eight drills.

Our Opti B sailors have adventured further, making it all the way past the channel and into the bay. On Wednesday, they played a rocking game of 500, and today they sailed over to Sand Island where they hung out with Eli Semler and his crew of gallivanting harbor seals.

Our Morning 420 sailors are learning to skipper, crew and stretch with Amelia and Adelia at the helm of some serious dock yoga.

We also had our first race day this Thursday, where our teams persevered through wind-shifts and course corrections. Typical Blue Hill Bay! The 420 team match raced the day away, while Hudson Clark led the Opti fleet - sailing into a victory feast of watermelon and ice cream sandwiches.
